Beaver Country Day School

The steam pipe heating system in Beaver Country Day School’s historic main building

was failing. The school and their owner’s project manager, CSL Consulting, hired

Marquis Architecture and VAV Engineers to assist with replacement of the system and

the addition of air conditioning throughout the building.

We replaced the system with a more efficient 4-pipe water-based system with fan coil

units in each classroom and office. These systems were carefully studied for acoustic

performance and other design aspects that would affect the learning environment.

Extreme care was taken to weave the new systems through the historic building in a

careful & respectful manner.
